ADVANCED – tennis program overview
At an advanced level of tennis training, the focus shifts from basic techniques to sophisticated strategies and skills that can significantly elevate a player’s game. The curriculum is meticulously designed to ensure that every participant gains a deeper understanding of technical and tactical aspects, enabling them to perform at their peak during competitive play.
The training encompasses a wide array of techniques and strategies, amplifying both the physical and mental prowess of the players. From mastering a variety of serves to perfecting groundstrokes and net play, each aspect of the game is dissected and honed under expert guidance. The ultimate goal is to forge athletes who are not only skilled in executing complex maneuvers but also adept at crafting and implementing effective match strategies.

Advanced Serving Techniques
At an advanced level, players learn to master different types of serves including the flat serve, slice serve, and kick serve. Emphasis is placed on developing a powerful, accurate, and consistent serve that can be used as a weapon to win points outright or set up an advantageous position in rallies.
groundstrokes
Advanced players focus on perfecting their forehand and backhand groundstrokes. This includes honing topspin, slice, and flat shots, as well as improving control, power, and placement. Players are taught to adapt their strokes to different surfaces and opponents.
volley and netplay
Net play becomes crucial at advanced levels. Training includes techniques for effective volleys, half-volleys, and overhead smashes. Players are coached on approaching the net with precision, executing drop volleys, and positioning for optimal net coverage.
shot selection
Advanced training emphasizes the importance of intelligent shot selection. Players are taught to make quick decisions about which shots to play in various scenarios, such as when to go for winners, when to rally, and when to play defensive shots.
pattern play
Pattern play involves practicing specific sequences of shots to create predictable outcomes. For example, players might work on patterns that open up the court for a winning shot. This helps in developing consistency and reliability in match situations.
focus and concentration
Mental training at an advanced level includes techniques to maintain focus and concentration throughout the match. Players learn methods to block out distractions, manage stress, and stay in the present moment.
